2009 was an interesting year for most businesses, including ours. The year started with uncertainty for many, not knowing what local impact the global financial situation would bring. Some businesses that were not flexible enough to ride out the challenging business terrain struggled, while others saw it as an opportunity to review their strategy and direction.
Our response, to use an adventure metaphor, was to check our map (business plan) and compass (vision & values) against the changing terrain we were potentially facing and to do what we call a 'SDOC-take' (analysis of Strengths, Development needs, Opportunities and Challenges) in relation to our services, skills, resources, assets and liabilities, so that we could make good decisions about how to respond in a proactive and responsible manner.
This required us to work smarter in 2009 as many of you have - staying focussed on serving client needs as well as investing time in reflection, evaluation and development so that we could adapt to the changing terrain and come out of the year with our personal and business relationships intact.
The result has been renewed growth. In much the same way as plants do after a good dose of weeding, pruning, watering and fertilising. We trust that you had a challenging but rewarding year as well and that in 2010 you will harvest the seeds that you may have sown this year.
New Offerings in 2010

We will also be offering the Living Balance program to those in the general public who want to improve their 'Health Age' and live a more balanced quality of life.
